Sandra Bullock Enjoy A Performance Of New Broadway Musical_ The Book Of Mormon

Sandra Bullock, who reportedly appeared to enjoy a performance of their new Broadway musical 'The Book of Mormon', which features profanity, sex and Adolf Hitler.

The religious satire show, which opened two weeks ago in New York, tells of two Mormon missionaries who are sent off to spread the word of God in Uganda. One of them is not that familiar with the actual religion, so he makes some parts up. The score was written by Parker, Stone and Robert Lopez of the puppet musical 'Avenue Q'.

Sandra watched the musical with her sister, Gesine, on Wednesday, March 30 and was on her feet, clapping and cheering during the curtain call after laughing her way through the whole performance, the People magazine reported.

The night I went, Sandra Bullock was sitting in front of me, an experience only slightly more surreal than hearing a whole auditorium singing along to a chorus that goes. Expletive you, God, in the expletive, mouth and expletive, Hadley Freeman wrote in the UK newspaper The Guardian on Friday, March 31. Sandra's shoulders shook delightedly.

In attendance at the performance Sandra watched, Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford of the 'Today' show and rock singer Sting and his wife Trudie Style.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints had in February issued a statement regarding the musical, saying.

Production may attempt to entertain audiences for an evening, but 'the Book of Mormon' as a volume of scripture will change people's lives forever by bringing them closer to Christ.
