John Travolta Reuniting With Welcome Back Kotter_ Cast For TV Land Awards

John Travolta has been a professional actor for over 30 years, and when your resume is as long as his you’re considered a veteran. Therefore it’s no surprise that he will appear at this year’s TV Land Awards, which honors the best in vintage television. You know, the good ol’ days?

Travolta will be part of a special tribute to the show that jump started his career, 'Welcome Back, Kotter'.

Travolta and the rest of the original cast will be on hand to celebrate 'Welcome Back, Kotter’s' 35th anniversary. Lawrence Hilton-Jabobs, Ron Pallilo and Marcia Strassman will be in attendance to receive the honor, but one important actor will be missing, Gabe Kaplan. Mr. Kotter himself isn’t listed as one of the attendees at the event. Maybe he’ll make a surprise appearance?
It seems weird that the woman who played his wife will go but he won’t. Plus, it’s called 'Welcome Back, Kotter' not 'Welcome Back, Everybody Else.

Travolta played the role of Vinnie Barbarino on the series, and it was during that time he was cast in the iconic film Saturday Night Fever, which launched his movie career.

The ceremony will be taped April 10 in New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for broadcast on April 17 on TV Land.
