American singer and actress Chynna Phillips has become the latest celebrity to leave the Hollywood ballroom.
Chynna Phillips was eliminated last night and became the fourth celebrity to leave the Fall 2011 season of 'Dancing With the Stars'.
'Last night was tough. Thank you all for your votes. I pray that you all have a beautiful day. I am keeping my chin up! Thanks to you. Xo', Chynna Phillips tweeted yesterday.
Phillips’ a usually strong contestant seemed to come unraveled during her last dance, when it became obvious she was confused with her moves. She was seen asking partner, Tony Dovolani, what was happening to which he responded by reminding her of the right moves.
Chynna Phillips’ elimination follows reality star, Kristin Cavallari, Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis, and NBA player Metta World Peace also known as Ron Artest.
Remaining celebrity dancers include Chaz Bono, Hope Solo, Carson Kressley, David Arquette, Nancy Grace, Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian.
Chynna Phillips, 43, is best known for being a member of Wilson Phillips. She’s also known for being the daughter of The Mamas & the Papas band members, John and Michelle Phillips and half sister Mackenzie Phillips.
In the late 1980s, Chynna Phillips formed the trio Wilson Phillips with her childhood friends Carnie and Wendy Wilson. The group released their first album in 1990 and went on to sell eight million copies. Their second album was released in 1992 and was deemed a commercial failure though it was certified platinum. Chynna Phillips split after their second album but reunited in 2004 for their third album California.
