Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band will launch North American Tour 2011, starting in March, Seger's 1st time on the concert trail since his tour of 2006.
Shortly the exact cities and dates will be announced, although a map that flashes in a brief video announcement, shows Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts, Missouri and New York.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has a deep well of hits to draw from, but he will also give fans a taste of some new music from a release he's been preparing for some time.
Bob, who turns 66 in May, is known for his legendary live performances at Cobo Hall over the years, and he will certainly play several shows.
Seger's recent album release was 'Early Seger Vol. 1,' Seger has amassed more than 50 million in record sales, and in an era when those kind of numbers are way down, he's kept it up; in 2010, he was honored as having the No. 1 Catalog Album of the Decade for his 'Greatest Hits,' which sold 9 million.
