Daytime Emmy Award-winner Elisabeth Hasselbeck is moonlighting from her View duties to host 'Angels Among Us', a limited series launching on CMT Thursday.
Each installment of the four-part series recreates three real-life life-or-death instances in which someone's life was saved by another person. The episodes will conclude with a follow-up about how the lives of people involved were impacted. Elisabeth Hasselbeck will present the stories through survivor interviews, eyewitness accounts and reenactments.
The premiere episode of 'Angels Among Us' focuses on three survivors of the September, 11 attacks who all believe that an otherworldly force guided them to safety.
'Angels Among Us' is produced by GRB Entertainment (Intervention, Aftermath With William Shatner), with Gary Benz, Michael Branton and Tammy Wood as executive producers.
'The View's' Elisabeth Hasselbeck joined ABC's The View in Nov. 2003, and regularly takes a conservative stance on issues. She and her co-hosts received a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009, marking the first time in the 36-year history of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences that multiple talk show hosts received the honor.
